Fulfilling a dream and a passion, Janelle Dreyfuss has transformed a French-nouveau style building in West Hollywood, CA into the culinary event facility, L.A. Food Works. There, corporate and private parties can cozily "bond" over working with exotic ingredients and then be elegantly served in a private dining room.
L.A. Food Works offers specialized experiences where celebrity chef/authors hold demonstrations to unveil new projects; where one can develop an appreciation of fine wines, experience fresh market field trips and more. We also provide a place where children can unleash their imaginations and benefit from the full scope of what dining has to offer; learning about ingredients, preparation, cooperation and nutrition in a long-lasting way.
L.A. Food Works takes the art of cookery beyond the kitchen and into the practices of daily life.

Janelle has a well rounded palate. She's dined elegantly with President Clinton at the White House, lunched royally with Prince Charles, delighted in roadkill as a volunteer in the Israeli Army and survived on protein shakes while on location with ex-husband Richard in French Guiana. She believes "food is an element of cultural history, expressing time, place and personality. The pleasures of even contemplating what food to prepare, the creativity itself, is an expression of who you are and what you want to share with others. Nothing links people together as much as sitting down to food". Graduating in the top of her class, her culinary training was completed at the Institute of Culinary Education, formerly known as Peter Kump's Cooking School, in New York.
Janelle studied Dietetics and Accounting at California State University Northridge and is currently President of One Take Management, Inc., a NY and LA based Accounting and Business Management Company. Her business and culinary affiliations include the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the James Beard Foundation and the WEHO Chamber of Commerce.
